PADIC is comprised of 12 members and 1 associate member company and two affiliate independent agency Trade Associations (Alliance of American Insurers and IBA West). Members are small to mid-sized California domestic insurers, whose products are sold by agents and brokers. Members do not write workers compensation coverage.

In addition, members give over $100K to local charitable, educational and civic programs in their communities. They participate in 42 other employee community programs and over 100 of their employees participate in semi-annual blood drives.

California has lost many of its domestic insurers in the last couple of decades. PADIC was formed to preserve those remaining, recognize and restore the community and economic contributions made to California by domestic insurers, and to encourage competition, education and consumer benefit.
